The Second City

It's starting to grow on me. Not that I ever hated it, but I definitely took home for granted. It is always nice to get reacquainted with someone or some place and just take a closer look. It has been a while since I cultivated an intimacy with a place. The kind of intimacy that grows with long, slow walks; the kind that comes from routine; the kind that comes from observing the patterns in the brick or studying the passage of light on a building over the course of a day.

Anyways, some drive by shots off the Lawrence red line stop near my grandma's place. The last two, obviously from my favorite: the CTA.
